2019 Manufacturing Night

On October 1st, the BNMA celebrated its annual Manufacturing Night event. Beginning with a Hiring Fair that allowed Northland students the opportunity to engage with local businesses and BNMA members who are looking to hire, the event concluded with a manufacturing trade show that had 60 exhibiting companies ranging in diversity from metal working to chocolate making to consulting. With 300 in attendance, it was a perfect night for connecting with the manufacturing industry, and offered the public an opening into the Training Center.

BNMA Executive Director, Peter Coleman, presented special awards to key partners, including Northlad Workforce Training Center staff - Corey Neil, Jim Cantella, Wade Smith, and Katherine Ruiz-Meneses, - SUNY Erie teacher Peter Gullo, and Alfred State teacher Guy Hughson.

In addition, the Gene Haas Foundation presented the Northland Workforce Training Center with a check of $24,000 to support its operations.
